ToΤ on migration health

In the context of ΜΙG-H Training programme a seminar for migrant health experts was held in Athens on March 20-23, who subsequently will train health professionals and police officers on the subject.

In depth analysis of issues related to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and mental health (primary mental health and psychological support) were examined as well as the domains of occupational health and burnout prevention.

The seminar was attended by HCDCP’s health professionals, Chryssa Botsi and Panagiotis Damaskos, while Agis Terzidis, HCDCP’s Vice-president, addressed a greeting.

The MIG-H Training programme is funded by the European Commission and implemented by the International Organization for Migration, GIZ, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and ASPHEN (Association of Public Health Schools in the European Region) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and HCDCP.
