Protecting children during refugee and migration crisis

International Organization for Migration and HCDCP organized two training sessions for employees of Reception and Identification Service in Samos and Fylakio, Evros, aiming to protect children in the context of the refugee crisis.

During the workshop, the following topics were developed:

Mrs Zarouli and Mrs Aridaki, IOM’s coordinator and psychologist respectively, were the speakers of the sessions.

ΤHCDCP was represented by Mr D. Patestos, HCDCP’s medical coordinator in the Eastern Aegean islands and Mrs Botsi, PHILOS’s scientific director.

During the sessions, RIC’s practices and needs both on unaccompanied minors and on the subject of migratory health were discussed.
