Guidance for children and adolescents on staying at home
in the framework of the Joint Ministerial Decision on the prevention of spread of novel Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in school units and the community

- Avoid assemblies and gatherings (e.g. cafes, cinemas)
- Avoid extracurricular group activities
- Avoid gatherings at friends’ houses, restaurants or shopping centers
- Encourage remote educational activities (e-learning)
- Avoid contact with people in high-risk groups
- Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water or a disinfectant
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue; dispose of your tissue properly using a rubbish bin. If you don’t have a tissue, use your elbow
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Avoid close contact (handshaking, hugging and kissing)
- Avoid contact with people who have symptoms of infection
- If you develop symptoms, stay at home and call you doctor or contact the National Public Health Organization (NPHO).
